A native of St-Tite in Mauricie, she is known for her interpretations of country folk songs as well as for her ability to do "yodeling", this way of turluting specific to Tyrolean singing.

When you grow up in St-Tite, country music is omnipresent, which explains her interest in this musical style.

On the album I own, Manon covers classics by Zachary Richard (L'arbre est dans ses feuillles), Louise Forestier (Dans la prison de Londres), Gilles Vigneault (Tout le monde est malheureux), as well as the local song (Au chant de l'alouette) that had been popularized by the Karriks in the early 70s.

Among the musicians on the album is the renowned violinist André Proulx who also played keyboards and guitar in addition to producing the album produced by Guy Cloutier.

A smiling and dynamic performer, she travels from festival to festival and delights fans of this musical style.
