French-Canadian (Québec) duet (1999-2014) from the region of Outaouais founded by André Varin and Valérie Pichon specialized in country folk, cajun, blue grass with a touch of classic Celtic, adding here and there a touch of modernity and virtuosity.
"Châkidor" is a French pun for "Sleeping Cat".
