Pierret Beauchamp

Canadian singer born on June 4, 1940, in Saint-Jacques (Quebec, Canada). She was especially popular during the 1960s.

It was in 1957 that Pierret Beauchamp experienced her first performances on stage, notably as part of Ti-Blanc Richard's orchestra, which animated the television show Les gais lurons on the CHLT-TV airwaves at that time.

In 1959, she recorded a first single labeled Aladin before joining Rusticana. It was in 1965 that she achieved her greatest success with "Tu Te Reconnaîtras", a song written by Leny Escudero. In the mid-1970s, she added several country songs to her repertoire.
