Johnny Bruneau (d. Aug. 2004) was a Canadian country fiddler. Born in Latchford, Ontario in Canada, Bruneau began playing fiddle at the age of 12. He enlisted during World War II and formed a band with two fellow servicemen to do weekly radio shows on CHOV in Pembroke, Ontario. When the war ended he moved to the Sudbury area and performed at local venues. He formed and led The Northern Ridge Runners and later hosted the television program "The Northern Hoedown".
