Line-Up 4: 1984 / Montreal @ Notre Dame and Guy (L to R) Colin Bryce, Eloi Bertholet, Dave Brown, Patrick ? (Sax), Clint Bowman

Dub Rifles POSTER

What a wonderful picture of Clint. I think this was taken by Eloi but I can't be sure... It really captures life on the road, dontcha think?

This guy was always reading to give it 100%. Here Eloi kicks it out at an Anti-Nuke Rally on the steps of the Manitoba Legislative Buildings. Pic by Carmen Copy

Line-Up 1: 1980-81 Clint Bowman (bass) Eloi Bertholet (drums) Colin Bryce (vocals, guitar) Matthew "Sid" Challenger (sax)

Nice live shot from an appearance at a university in southern Ontario. Note the old "banner" and its use of the orthodox cross.

Matthew is now an accomplished piper. We certainly don't hold that against him. Even though he was the first one to quit! Lovely fella, and if you're ever in the "Steel City" (no, not Pittsburgh) then be sure to watch for him and his magical pipes.

Line-Up 2: 1981-83 Clint Bowman (bass) Eloi Bertholet (drums) Colin Bryce (vocals, guitar) Matthew "Sid" Challenger (sax) Dave Brown (sax)

Line-Up 3: 1983-1984 Clint Bowman (bass), Colin Bryce (vocals, guitar), Eloi Bertholet (drums), Dave Brown (sax)

I had to chop the dates off this but I will tell ya that it was for Sept 6-11 and that was most likely 1982. Pretty damn groovy if ya ask me. Nice one Carm!

"Hey Dave, whaddya think of my shades? Aren't I cool?" CB "Yeah man. But do ya dig my paisley?" DB And yes folks, I do believe that is a parka hangin' on the drums in behind.

Rather large photo so apologies to all you 56K and lower types (me included!) but this may be of interest as it is from the first official photo shoot at the house on Furby St. Am I right boys? Almost certainly spring, early summer 1981. Photo by KANE

Here is a snap of our first "manager" and bongo player, Jeff "Electrophonic Tonic" Monk, deep in thought. As with all our managers, we screwed him. Besides, he really didn't have any money and we needed money. Y'know for smokes and stuff...

Matthew and Dave honk their hearts out at the Domino Klub in Toronto on our first tour to the big town. We came for the cash and stayed for the trash... What impressed us most? Why, Blibber and The Ratcrushers of course!
