Breaker was Calgary's contribution to the heavy metal scene of the early 1980's. Although the album was recorded at Round Studios in Weston, Ontario, and Mastered at Manta Sound in Toronto in January - February, 1982, these young men Warren McWilliams (bass); Rik Anthony (lead vcals); Kevin Bradley (lead guitar); Doug Jones (dums); Brian "Shaky" Johnston (guitar) were all Calgarians. After the release of this album on Ironhead Records, the band quickly disbanded. A year later, Shaky would release another album with Lawsuit (Winnipeg). The Days of Heavy Metal was produced by Van Louis (ex Stampeders). It was engineered by Bob Federer in Weston, Ontario and John Parker in Calgary, Alberta. The great cover artwork design was by Inklings, Toronto. The album had limited pressings and is sought by many.
