"The Griffins" were a Crescentwood area R&B group formed in 1965 by St. Paul's High School guitarist Phil O'Connell and drummer Kenn Richard, together with vocalist Don Carriere, bassist Larry Mahler and rhythm player Ron Harder, there was some dissention in the group.
