This second of three singles by the Port Coquitlam foursome was released in August, 1973 on the band's own Bird record label, which stood for Bernie, Ian, Rick, Dave. It was pressed in a quantity of 100 copies. "The second 45 showcased a more melodic side with "Sweet Thursday", as well as their sense of humour on "Country Tune", parodying country music until finally erupting into an explosion of fuzz-rock."
