About This Title

Ottawa’s Bureaucrats were formed in the summer of 1978. They only released one 45 and appeared on two compilations during their short career, but this 1980 single is one of the very best of all Canadian punk records. Two songs here, recorded in December 1979, and each is a bright star in the early punk/pop pantheon, both surging, memorable tunes delivered with loads of energy and angst. A Canadian counterpart to The Jam, Buzzcocks, Undertones, Clash etc, and genuinely that good! In pocket sleeve with new insert. limited to 100 colour pressings. Get your copy now here: http://uglypop.bigcartel.com/product/pointed-sticks-what-do-you-want-me-to-do-45-and-bureaucrats-feel-the-pain-45 The Bureaucrats are: Gary (Gaz) Sidwell: vocals Mitch Sidwell: rhythm guitar and vocals Joe Frey: lead guitar and vocals Grant Bucosky: bass Wayne Johnson: drums
