About This Title

"Highway Driving" is a terrific Canadian song written by Alabama back in 1973 (Alabama were nominated for a Juno Award for Country Single Of The Year).

John and Ron both grew up on Prince Edward Island and both with musical families! They are first cousins. John comes from the northern part of P.E.I., Alberton and Ron from Summerside on the south-west side.

Both Ron and John started playing when they were 9 years old and professionally when they were 15! They got together in August of 1974 as The Islanders Two and have entertained throughout Alberta, Saskatchewan, Ontario and Nova Scotia. They are looking forward to entertaining in every province in Canada in the very near future.

Special thanks to John and Veronica, through whose loyal friendship and support, this album was made possible!

John Barrett: guitar, lead vocals
Ron Hogan: 12 string, backup vocals
John McCreary: spoons
